First Holy Communion
First Holy Communion is a very special occasion in which young children receive the Sacrement for the very first time. This joyous event is always a delight to photograph, capturing those precious moments during the ceremony. I am regularly commissioned to capture the event at local churches on an annual basis. This frequently offers me the opportunity to photograph children whose brothers and sisters have also received First Communion. After the ceremony I am usually asked to take portraits of many families as relatives are present to witness the event and share in the celebrations.
