I have always loved looking at flowers exploring their infinite variety in colour, shape, texture and form. Over the last few years I have created a library of floral portraits of which some are on display here. There are also many to view in the image library: Gap Photos – specialising in Gardens and Plants.
Included among the portraits on display are many images taken from my book “Flora Dramatica” which I published in 2010. The flowers are all photographed against a dark background which vividly brings each individual bloom to life.
